The Brief

We were recommended by a previous client to the owner of this plot who is a property developer. The brief was to design three 4-bedroom luxury dwellings that suit the semi-rural location and maximises on the views over the greenbelt. For this design, we introduced some nice, glazed atriums to the front of the property which floods the lounge and master bedrooms with light and provide beautiful portrait like views.

For the materials we wanted to respect the local character which was mainly stone-built farmhouses with rendered sections, so for contrast, we used the natural coursed stone on the front projections with render to the main body of the dwelling.

This project is in the later stages of planning where we are working with the council to discharge the conditions whilst also working on the detailed tender/construction drawings.
